     The spot welding electrode tip must be kept clean. When the electrode tip surface is damaged or worn, the repair method is as follows:

     1. Place a thin flat file between the upper and lower electrodes, adjust the function key of the commutator spot welder to the air valve, step on the foot switch, let the electrode hold the file, rotate it horizontally, and wait until the contact surface of the electrode is ground After leveling, release the switch and reset the upper electrode.

     2. Use fine sandpaper to polish the contact plane of the two electrodes, so that the electrode and the workpiece maintain good contact.

     3. If the electrode is severely damaged, it cannot be simply polished with sandpaper or flat file, but needs to be repaired with the help of a machine tool.
